国际部开展外籍教师英语教研活动

    编者按：11月3日上午，魏君主任主持召开了国际部本大周工作例会，会议主要议程：布置本大周主要工作，选举外籍教师英语教研组组长，审议校外籍教师管理规定。外籍教师Michelle全票通过当选组长。11月4日，Michelle组织召开了我校外籍教师英语教研组第一次研讨会，并确定以后每周二上午10:00召开教研会。
    Foreign Affairs Department held a meeting on November 3, 2014.  Ms. Wei Jun spearheaded the meeting together with the school’s six foreign teachers.
    As part of the International Department’s aim to improve quality of teaching and development of foreign teachers, the department established the Foreign Teachers Research Group. This group is designed to further improve the teaching profession not only to become active partners in the teaching and learning process but also to engage in research on ways to improve educational opportunities for students. The meeting primarily discussed on foreign teachers’ working system that include systematically planning for instruction, utilize  various teaching strategies to arouse students’ interest in learning English, establish a suitable learning environment, engage students in meaningful learning and take part in school activities. Moreover, teachers also shared their learning experiences with the students and discussed collaboratively on the methods and teaching techniques which are helpful and effective in meeting the needs of the students.
    2014年11月3日，合世外外籍教师英语教研会议在国际部举行，魏君女士参与了整个会议。
    外籍教师英语教研组作为学校的一部分，我们的宗旨是提高整个团体的教学质量和规范外教日常教学管理。我们希望能进一步提高自身职业素养，这不仅要我们在教学和学习过程中成为积极的合作伙伴，也要我们积极探索如何让我们的课堂更加有效。会议主要讨论了教师的工作体系，包括以系统规划为指导，运用多种教学策略，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，建立一个合适的学习环境，从而让学生有意义地学习并积极参加学校活动。此外，教师也分享了他们的教学经验，并讨论如何运用有效的教学方法满足学生需求。
